learn to code poster

This project was meant to utilize our graphic skills for social change in a design of dissent. The social issue I chose to tackle for this poster was diversity in technology, specifically the lack there of. As my minor is in computer science, I see this issue prominently in my everyday life and it is very important to me. To showcase just how drastic the issue is, I decided to use statistics related to the lack of minorities in technology. The stats, however, are being squished to the sides of the page by women in heels, indicating that they can be the ones to destroy these shocking statistics. With a call to action to learn more about coding at the bottom, this poster has bold imagery and strong, empowering feel.
