The idea behind this project was to pick a product or company that either does social good or could be changed to do social good and design new packaging for them. The company I decided on was Too Faced Cosmetics, a brand that is known for being cruelty free (meaning they do not test their products on animals). The brand has a dog mascot which I thought would be perfect to use to emphasize this value. All of the packaging is focused on this dog (Clover), and meant to bring awareness to the importance of buying cruelty-free makeup. The items I created are an eye shadow pallette, foundation, a make-up bag, and buttons (on a canvas bag). There is also a small marketing campaign along with this, which comes in the form of a fact card concerning animal testing.
